During the second quarter of 2025, the performance of leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Austria exhibited varying trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 2.3K in early April and reaching 3.6K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also rose significantly, from around 45.6K at the start of the quarter to over 60K by the end.

Similarly, Bolt: Request a Ride experienced growth in downloads, with numbers climbing from 2.1K to 3K over the quarter. Active users increased steadily, starting at 26.3K and peaking at 31.3K.
